Head of Compliance - Germany (m/f/d)

We are hiring for a leading European bank, that is looking for someone to leverage their experience and expertise to lead the German Compliance function through a significant transformation programme and beyond.

As Head of Compliance - Germany, you will drive change while leading a team of 9 FTE's.

Tasks

• Designing and implementing a compliance framework to support the business effectively.
• Lead and develop an experienced team of compliance specialists.
• Create a high-performing efficient compliance function and positive work environment.
• Review new and/or enhanced products and services as part of the New Product Development process to assess compliance risks and ensure adherence with regulatory requirements.
• Interpreting and implementing new and modified regulations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading compliance functions in a similar environment (consumer banking or payments).
• Looking for a strategic thinker, someone that can deliver a successful transformation programme.
• A strong leader, someone that can help develop and retain a sizeable team.
