Product Owner

We re on a mission to help people make healthy and sustainable shopping decisions. CodeCheck is the leading app for conscious shopping with several million users in German-speaking countries. By scanning the barcode of consumer products in the cosmetics and food sector, users can directly access our assessment of the ingredients. The app displays a rating and product recommendations based on the latest scientific research and individual settings, enabling people to shop better and live better.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the further development of the CodeCheck App and Website
• Your focus is on creating, validating and delivering solutions that balance commercial viability, technical feasibility and customer desirability
• You ensure the product roadmap is aligned to the strategic priorities and the business plan
• You actively work with end users to understand and implement their needs and requirements
• You create detailed and concise user stories with clear prioritization, so that sprints can be executed effectively and efficiently with the team.
• You manage the "Product Backlog" in alignment with customer and business needs
• Participation, execution and leadership of agile meetings (e.g. dailies, reviews, refinements, PI planning s etc.)

Requirements

• Experience in managing mobile apps and web products
• Experience with agile project management and roadmapping methods
• Product innovation and discovery mindset
• Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills, as well as problem-solving and scalable approaches
• Communication talent in writing, verbally, and visually; and ability to reduce complex subjects to succinct information
• Must be able to handle multiple initiatives at once, under multiple deadlines and with attention to detail
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
• You are business fluent in English
