Tasks

These are the task you can look forward with us:

• You plan, design and automate infrastructure solutions and processes for us and our customers and further develop, among other things, our DevOps-as-a-Service platform (Container8).
• You develop cloud infrastructures for different environments.
• You monitor all aspects of our solutions, from security to usability, from Docker containers to our Terraform modules.
• You will create and test infrastructure deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• You will work with various methodologies including Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery (CD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and Pair Programming.
• Over time, you will evolve from an administrator to a DevOps engineer.

Requirements

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or comparable degree
• At least two years of professional experience in Linux administration
• Agile mindset and experience in working in agile project teams
• Experience in working with Docker or other container solutions
• Confident handling with Git
• Good written and spoken German (min. B2) and English skills
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team

Maybe you've heard of it before? - A plus - not a must-have!

• Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or other
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• CI/CD solutions, e.g. Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Kubernetes, HELM, Ansible
• SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
