RVP Consultants is looking to hire anAcademic Directortolead the instructional staff at one of the leading educational companies in Saudi Arabia.

The Academic Director will beresponsible for assisting in the implementation of the schools curricular programs, which includes curriculum innovation and planning, research, data analysis, assessment, coaching, and professional development.He/she will also beresponsible for supervising all school-based instructional staff and is accountable for the overall management of all in-school programs.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head of theInternational Schools in articulating, sustaining and enhancing the schools educational aims.
  • Working in partnership with the Head of the School indeveloping and implementingthe schools Strategic Development Plan, and the achievements of the schools strategic goals.
  • Maintaining the schools reputation for excellence, ensuring that it continues to grow and evolve as a dynamic working environment.
  • Evaluates, assesses,and monitors the achievement of the goals established for the schools and learning outcomes and gives feedback, suggested action plans, and improvement strategies as necessary.
  • Responsible to monitor, plan and follow up withtheschools international recruitment procedure based on the needs.
  • Prepares and presents reports to the Board of Directors or delegates the responsibility as appropriate.
  • Provides updates of changes, additions,and progress on the action plan to the Board of Directors.
  • Arranges and steers the school improvement committee to plan for the coming years and discusses the needed changes to ensure outstanding results and, based on that to provide periodical reports.
  • Ensures that regular evaluations are completed for all schools.
  • Reviews proposed and existing legislation for possible impact to assessment data, accountability and evaluation systems, programs and processes.
  • Observes and evaluates teachers and makes the needed action plan.
  • Develops, plans and coordinates curriculum and assessments for implementing a standards-based instructional program.
  • Oversees all curricular adoptions, including review, selection, distribution and subsequent professional development.
  • Analyzes data for improving the instructional programs such as MAP scores and prepares reports accordingly.
  • Demonstrates effective teaching strategies and management techniques for assisting teachers to improve their instructional skills.
  • Responsible for professional development and training for teachers and staff to ensure outstanding performance.
  • To undertake any other responsibilities that the Schoolssuccessful achievement may requireandbe necessary for the proper fulfillment of the role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree. Preferably in educational leadership, or a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of leadership experience at a school and/or division level
