YOUR TASKS

• Management of the Timber Digestion Department
• Establishment of the new department
• Identifying the required positions and describing the job requirements
• Staff management and promotion
• Development of new projects
• Responsibility for the timely implementation of projects
• Implementing and continuously improving processes
• Optimisation and maintenance of internal processes and interfaces
• Responsibility for compliance with legal regulations in the department
• Processing the department's invention notifications
• Supporting the project managers with administrative tasks
• Data protection coordinator for the department
• Budget responsibility for the department
• Networking within the department
• Reports to the Scientific Executive Board

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Completed scientific university studies in areas of chemistry, pulp technology, process engineering or wood technology
• At least 5 years of industrial work experience in the field with the implementation of product and/or process development projects
• Proven experience in disciplinary and technical leadership
• Sound knowledge of project management, process management, innovation management
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• A high degree of self-motivation and independence
• Ability to motivate and inspire others
• A high degree of teamwork
• Ability and willingness to lead departments
• Solution-oriented action
• Hands-on mentality
• Flexible, open-minded and able to compromise
