Localization / SLAM Engineer in Munich (f/m/x)

Tasks

YOU WILL...

• be responsible for developing a state-of-the-art SLAM algorithm for our autonomous robots by using LiDAR-sensors. After implementing your designed solution, the robots can locate themselves in very dynamic environments just by laser scans, so that the Empty2Full warehouse problem will be solved.
• collaborate with our software engineers to improve our localization and trajectory planning solution by enhancing its core algorithms.
• ensure our localization and trajectory planning module is performing well on synthetic and real data, in diversified environments and conditions.
• make sure that our robot has a state estimation and doesn t loose its position even after slipping wheels.
• ensure that your SLAM algorithm leads to easy and scalable deployment of our robots in our customers' warehouses.
• produce high quality software including tests and code reviews for productization.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Completed degree in Computer Science, robotics (or other relevant field of study)
• Significant knowledge and experience in C++ and ROS2
• You have >2 yrs. of experience in SLAM, state estimation and sensor fusion
• Experiences with Embedding software implementation
• Experience in computer vision and image processing algorithms such as SLAM, 3D perception, object detection, tracking, segmentation.
