(Senior) Business Intelligence / Data Analyst (m/f/d)

About the Job

We re looking for an experienced Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and develop its Business Intelligence strategies.

In your day-to-day work, you ll focus on creating meaningful professional reports to optimise business processes and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Join our portfolio company: A German company focused on providing B2B customers fast and easy access to a full range of online printing services and products. As a leading European provider, the platform serves over 500,000 customers in 30 markets.

In this role, you ll:

• Design, implement and interpret meaningful KPIs, professional reports and ad hoc analyses
• Monitor and improve business relevant processes in Marketing, Sales, Production and Logistics
• Collaborate closely with all departments on data driven projects to enhance business processes
• Help solve BI related issues in an abstract and analytical way with high goal orientation
• Create and further develop statistical data and predictive models

Your Profile

• Professional experience in the field of business intelligence
• Fundamental understanding of business contexts and understanding of how different departments control and define their KPIs
• Very good knowledge of Excel, relational and multidimensional databases. Ideally with Microsoft technologies (SQL Server / Analysis Services)
• Experience in the areas of data mining and machine learning (knowledge of modern programming languages or knowledge of Python, R, SPSS and commercially available BI solutions is a bonus)
• Successfully completed business studies or a comparable qualification
• Strong, empathic, fluent communication skills in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in our F rth office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
