Vivira develops digital health applications (DiGA) for patients with musculoskeletal disorders to reduce pain and restore physical function.

Vivira is a CE-marked medical device and was the first digital health app in Germany for musculoskeletal conditions to be listed in the DiGA directory of the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM). Since the BfArM listing, all doctors can prescribe Vivira, and all statutory health insurers and increasingly also private health insurers cover the costs.

Vivira helps doctors and patients to close gaps in care where conventional therapies reach their limits: we provide access to therapeutic training independent of time and place, patient-centred and personalised, unlimited by conventional remedy budgets.

In 2021, Vivira was the most frequently prescribed DiGA in Germany.

Android Developer (m/f/d) (Full-time)

As our new Android engineer, you will get stuck into building the next-gen of our already successful Vivira App.

We have an ambitious, tough goal ahead of us (building a new product line), and as you will embody such an integral function to this vision, we are looking for someone who works with warmth, positivity, and honesty, i.e. someone who breathes our culture.

Tasks

• You will build the next generation of Vivira s product line.
• You will be the architect for robust solutions that will fit the various Android devices in the market.
• Working closely with various stakeholders you will enhance the existing product with a mind to regulatory aspects, user needs and our company vision
• You will bounce ideas off your other Android developers and collaborate seamlessly with the BE, iOS and QA colleagues as well as the crews from Product, Design, and Regulatory

Requirements

• You bring at least 5 years of Android development experience

• Mobile native development experience is a "must have" for us

• At least 3 (awesome) years of Kotlin development

• You bring an agile approach towards development and company.

• Your work is defined by an eagerness to master

• In your work, you not only want to do as you said , but also to express your opinions and thoughts - we value and need active collaboration

• Solid engineering foundation, SOLID principles in practice, Clean code as the way of coding.

• TDD/BDD as the way of developing features
