• Experience in HIL validation, preferably with dSpace HIL.
• Knowledge of dSpace ControlDesk, AutomationDesk
• Familiarity with calibration Tools like ATI Vision, Diagnostic Tools
• Knowledge of hardware systems, ECUs, HIL systems
• Experience in development of functional test procedures
• Knowledge of UDS and Diagnostic protocols
• Knowledge of CAN / LIN
• Ability to collaborate with the various internal stakeholders ECU design engineers, Hardware and Software teams, and HIL team for HIL setup upgrade and maintenance
• Defect reporting and tracking during system and acceptance testing till closure
• Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Basic usage of CANalyser / CANoe

Good to have Skills

• Working knowledge of Matlab based Model Development
• Working knowledge of Python

Roles & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is validation of multiple ECU control software features in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Simulation environment for early software builds. This position will also perform software validation in prototype vehicles for software releases closer to production during peak testing times.

• Work closely with software developers to create hardware in the loop (HIL)-specific test cases to determine proper function of the Control software
• Configure and validate DTC and DID, Diagnostic testing on HIL
• Develop procedures to test Diagnostics.
• Test procedure execution and program ownership for HIL Testing
• Verify stability and performance under various vehicle operating conditions
• Work closely with calibration engineers and software engineers to troubleshoot software issues
• Perform interaction across multiple suppliers /Software provider for query/issue resolution
• Maintain HIL system operation with updates to interface models, system hardware, user interfaces, and test automation as required
• Flash, configure, and test ECU control software as needed in prototype vehicles.
• Lead issue resolution of issues uncovered during software validation
