Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Field Service

Qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanics are required to operate from a service truck serving the Northeast US: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky, with limited trips to adjacent states. Knowledgeable, reliable and customer service oriented heavy equipment techs will represent the company while providing quality repairs to all manner of customer equipment in the field. A valid CDL and/or clean driving record are essential for this field service position.

Heavy Equipment Technicians that excel in this role should have experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing vehicles from Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Case, Kobelco, Hitachi, Terex, etc. heavy equipment and systems including engines, hydraulics, tracks, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and more.

Compensation

$22.00 $34.00 /hour to start based on experience and training. Benefits available after the first 90 days of employment and include: health, dental vision, retirement options, ample overtime, AD&D, LTD and more.

Schedule

Days, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, though flexibility will be required to cover frequent travel (in a company truck, with a company credit card), late nights, and special projects/extenuating circumstances from time to time.
