سيتم تحديثك بأحدث تنبيهات الوظائف عبر البريد الإلكترونيThe post holder will be an experienced and highly skilled technician undertaking a range of detailed activities on crew escape, ejection seats, armament and associated weapon systems.
At this level the post holder requires a good understanding of the construct of the approved data set and is competent to work unaided to maintenance instructions and in accordance with the organisation s MOE. Demonstrates the ability to follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate awareness of broader external dependencies and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Undertaking detailed maintenance, inspection activities on the Role Bay components. Assuring work undertaken is completed in accordance with the work package, using the relevant approved technical information. Resolving faults and maintenance issues, including compliance with configuration management
Undertaking and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on Role components, which may include, as appropriate, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and / or functional / system test
Demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role and takes direction appropriately
Maintain personal task authorisation for working on components in accordance with QAF requirements
Maintaining a personal LogBook to demonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On the Job training (OJT) activities
Progress reporting against delivery targets to supervisor
Undertake support tasks within the Role Bay facility which are required to maintain compliance with the MOE and QAF procedures (e.g. oversight checks, control of tooling / test equipment)
Undertaking fault evaluation and raise ad hoc work cards for found faults during maintenance
Ensuring that maintenance is undertaken to schedule and resolve any issues, escalate as required
Compliance with BAE Systems Policy to ensure that the Organisation complies with Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions & Explosive (WOME) legal requirements and all appropriate licenses and authorities are issued as required by Explosives Regulations 2014 and the Firearms Act 1968
Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications. Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent. Formal EaPW / Weapons training course
Requires broad and in-depth product knowledge / competency within own technical / subject area. Awareness of how the team integrates with others in order to achieve the overall objectives of the area and demonstrates an understanding of the requirement for continuous improvement and its application
