Head of Sustainable Funding

Our client, a well established financial services firm have a newly created opportunity available for a HeadofSustainableFundingto join their capital markets team. The successful candidate will play an integral part of this new team build out and your primary focus will originating and executing sustainable funding opportunities and working across the full suite of capital market products.

• Primary focus will be on Green Bonds / Fixed Income and embedding suitable sustainability / ESG measurements into debt structures
  
• Research and originate sustainable debt opportunities in the Irish market and beyond
  
• Subject matter expert in this emerging sector in Ireland, helping promote our global brand in conjunction with the wider DCM team
  
• This is a Director role, responsible for personal P&L and revenue targets
  
• Role objective is to originate, advise on and close GB mandates
  

Debt and fundraising Advisory

• Support the growthofthe debtoffering across debt advisory, fixed income, private placement, securitisation and sustainable finance
  
• Support other DCF teams by applying relevant experience to transactions originated elsewhere
  
• Develop and implement client plans that identify business targets for sustainabilityfunding
  
• Develop funder coverage strategy to build and retain relationships with key funder targets
  
• Transaction Lead responsible for origination and executionofbusiness mandates
  

Requirements

• 15 + years relevant transaction experience
  
• Expert in selected field
  
• Extensive transaction experience and ability to lead transactions from origination to close
  
• Ideally experienced in running a team or beingheadofa business area
  
• Technically very experienced in all aspectsofdebt, fixed income and all aspectsofsustainable finance
  
• Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary to perform the role
  
• Capableof working with firms existing client base and a demonstrable track record originating business
