الوصف الوظيفي
- Manage the planning and undertaking of scheduled and breakdown maintenance of engineering equipment’s or plant.
- Oversee the checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures.
- Ensure that equipment’s are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities
- Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians.
- Anticipate problems, analyse situations, and quickly find solutions to them.
- Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
- Oversee and control maintenance costs.
- Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications.
- Oversee inventory for the tools & spares and place orders for new ones as and when required
- Conduct close coordination/communication with other departments in order to facilitate the mechanical repair and preventive maintenance job
- Prepare and submit the necessary reports as required by Management and other reports as identified in the company’s systems and procedures
- Ensure quality of technical specifications for spares and sub-contracted work
- Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Maintenance Department
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
