Information Technology Cybersecurity

Responsible for the cybersecurity of the Brigade to include but not limited to its programs, organizations, systems, and enclaves.

Maintain the overall security posture of the systems within the Brigade area of responsibility AOR and is accountable for the implementation of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) subsequent iterations as directed.

Tracks and monitors user awareness and training compliancy using the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) to include DoD 8570.01-M compliance of all Brigade IT (Information Technology) personnel.

The Brigade Organization Information System Security Manager is the focal point for information assurance vulnerability alerts, bulletins, and technical guidance received from the National Security Agency and Department of the Army organizations.
