Title: Remote HR Compliance Consultant (M&A)

Pay Rate or Salary Range: $28/hr. DOE

Benefits include health, dental, and vision (eligible on the 1st of the month following your start date).

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Remote HR Compliance Consultant to work with our client, a top-tier global automotive businesses company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

This person will support all phases of M&A activity for the Global Employment Practices Team including due diligence, integration, and transition to business-as-usual processes. The position will ensure adherence to due diligence and integration timelines as well as I-9, background check, global mobility, and policy compliance for newly acquired employees. The position will partner with the M&A team, the Global Employment Practices team, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Environmental, Health, and Safety, HRBPs, and key contacts at the acquired company to resolve any issues, make recommendations, and support other key HR M&A Projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working on mergers and acquisitions, specifically in the HR compliance and Global Mobility space
  • Experience with pre-employment background checks
  • Experience with legal and regulatory compliance required
  • Experience with Form I-9 practices and procedures required
  • Ability to research, analyze, and interpret data
  • Ability to raise questions/ issues, think through downstream impacts/ implications
  • Ability to assess current state programs to make recommendations for and execute improvements
  • Project Management
  • Ability to think critically in challenging situations, anticipate, and resolve issues
