الوصف الوظيفي
- Plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the department.
- Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the department.
- Supervise and direct the work activities of the facilities technicians on day-to-day building maintenance operations including minor alterations work and repair of AU assets and assist them when required.
- Ensure all essential, critical and fast going items required for repair and maintenance purposes are available in storage at all times.
- Ensure all AU facilities are maintained at all times by scheduling site visits and conducting regular inspection.
- Responsible for timely purchasing of needed materials, using department budget & petty cash, once all the sources for the purchasing are accomplished.
- Responsible for obtaining quotations/ samples for materials and furniture needed.
- Coordinate with Contractors in order to be available on site and supervise their scheduled work.
- Ensure attending to all emergency calls in a timely manner with the responsible technician and/or maintenance contractors.
