Linux Administrator (Devops Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
• Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure
• Deal and assist with configuring development tools such as Jira, Jenkins, bitbucket, and different VPN tools.

Job Requirements

• 2-3 Years of experience in linux administration role.
• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as node, Apache, MySQL, nginx.
• Experience with load balancing, firewalls, DNS.
• Ability to configure domains, SMTPs, and mailing servers.
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.
• Ability to configure database replication, systems backups, and monitoring tools on production servers.
• Knowledge of servers, switches and other solutions relevant to the infrastructure.
• Knowledge of docker, containers, and kubernetes is highly desired
