الوصف الوظيفي
- •Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage for Alghanim Industries SAP systems
- •Performs ongoing tuning of the Oracle and SQL database instances
- •Troubleshooting DB Performance issues, fixing problems and owning issues through to resolution
- •Plan and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle and SQL database
- •Control migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes through the development life cycle
- •Responsibility with Physical database design and working on Projects and implementation
- •Provide technical support to SAP application and development teams. The DBA is usually the point of contact or Oracle DB related performance issues
- •Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database, Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
- •Implement and enforce security for all of the Oracle Databases
- •Perform database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database
- •Provide and develop a level of expertise and solutions in; VMware, Linux, Storage Systems, Networking, ITIL, basic project management and Problem Solving
- •Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
- •Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
- •Handling escalated calls from 1st line IT support
- •Manage disaster recovery and replication procedures along with Managed Service Provider
