الوصف الوظيفي
- Design ownership of product life cycle including initial concept through production and product support.
- Design mechanical components and assemblies with an emphasis on manufacturing ability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Material selection, determination of laminate architecture, creation of solid models, and design of sub-element components for structural testing; assist in manufacturing process development at suppliers and ensure the manufacturing ability of component designs.
- Construct CAD skills and ability to make high-quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards
- Perform engineering calculations to determine the size and strength of components.
- Solve design problems and check computations contributing to analytical designs.
- Utilize engineering tools such as FMEAs, FEA, and DFMA to validate design content.
- Evaluate materials and parts for use in new designs including communicating with current and new suppliers.
- Documenting and presenting results to management and external customers.
- Coordinating with others to advance technology and improve engineering standard work processes/methods
