A Year 3 teacher is required for a lovely community focused, stand alone British (BSO) Primary school in Bahrain to start in April. The class usually has 21 children in from a variety of nationalities but currently, class size is no more than 12 children in school and the remainder on line. Quality of teaching across the school is consistently good with examples of outstanding practices. No unsatisfactory teaching was observed.
Behaviour of pupils is excellent. There are highly positive relationships between pupils, staff and parents.
The pupils enjoy their learning and are proud of their schoolThe teacher will have an able TA and will teach the following subjects English, Maths , Science and Humanities. There are two other Year 3 class so lesson preparation is shared with each teacher planning for a specific subject.
Candidates must have a BEd, PGCE or equivalent and QTS in order to apply. Experience of teaching year 3 in a BSO school would be an advantage as would working in a British international school in the Gulf.
