Plan and develop institutional and capacity development work with WGA counterparts, in close coordination with relevant WGA technical staff.
Develop HRD and management concept and strategy for the water sector; and supportive action plans for the water utilities to ensure the implementation
Enhance and empower the water organizations and utilities to apply the joint partnerships in the capacity building and HRD activities and cooperation.
Develop certified training activities with utilities, Water Authority of Jordan, Ministry of Water and Irrigation and Jordan Valley Authority staff and professionals, as required, to expand and institutionalize water sector capacity and build on work completed by the OMT program
Support the institutional development TL in creating activity plans for institutional strengthening work, in close coordination with relevant WGA technical staff.
Support the GESI/Youth Manager in the development and implementation of the WGA internship program and support the institutionalization and mainstreaming of gender and youth inclusion policies in the water sector
Supervise technical staff within the Institutional Development Team; the Institutional Development Specialist and STTAs
Performs other tasks as appropriate and as determined by the Institutional Development Team Leader
