The Lead Systems Designer will be expected to fulfil the following activities:
- Be the stakeholder of systems such as Modes and Competitions, Progression, Objectives and Events
- Review and evaluate competitive products, identifying trends and core systems related areas to help develop the game concept alongside other leads
- Work with other members of the Systems Team to implement dynamic systems that will evolve over time, with player engagement and fun as primary focus
- Spearhead the design, prototyping, implementation and extensive testing of Core Systems
- Directly manage or work closely with a cross-discipline teams
- Craft and develop the game vision in collaboration with directors
- Be a passionate leader and mentor within the Systems Team to ensure the quality of gameplay
- Collaborate and communicate with the game’s directors, leads, and other team members from all disciplines during the product development cycle
