الوصف الوظيفي
- Through the direction of the Chief Metrologist (Engineering) assists the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in the provision of Engineering Services for RSAF MetCal activities and in accordance with RSAF directives.
- Checks the operational performance of existing and new TMDE, automated laboratory measuring systems; recommends enhancement upgrades and new software functions to ensure maximum flexibility, utilisation and test report generation.
- Provides technical support and assistance to MetCal personnel to resolve unusual or difficult problems associated with TMDE calibration measurement and repair activities.
- Prepares feasibility studies, circuit diagrams, logical drawings, complex calculations etc., to assist the RSAF in the procurement and configuration of new MetCal calibrationepair capabilities where no previous MetCal capability exists or where an existing capability needs to be enhanced to meet future tasks.
- Originates technical specifications and local calibration procedures, for MetCal tasks in accordance with RSAF requirements, where no other procedures are available and assist other Engineers and Metrologists in the preparation of multi-disciplinary procedures and reports.
