Job Description

  • Develop and inspire Business Development staff towards unlocking their full potential and aligning individual goals to those of the company.
  • Provide leadership in the design and implementation of business plans and products/ solutions/ programs.
  • Create and design innovative business models and solutions within accepted guideline, for existing and emerging businesses.
  • Defining the current-future states of business processes, key business metrics and competitive differentiation.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the product offering and being able to articulate unique selling points to key decision makers within target businesses.
  • Manage lead generation and market awareness programs.
  • Maintain an effective marketing intelligence repository tool for managerial decision making.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Develop, maintain and update pricing structures (strategies, tools, processes & procedures, controls) for the various offerings across the business lines with a speed-to-market assertiveness
  • Generate new alternative profit opportunities in line with sales targets; and to effectively optimization on the existing assets.
  • Target acquisitions and negotiate contracts.
  • Lead the company’s business brand strategies, brand value creation engagements, support and internalization in view of attaining and maintaining a desirable market share and sustainable business impact through formidable corporate, product & service brands equity and positioning.
  • Leverage and align resources with sales marketing, engineering & technical, accounting & finance, supply & distribution and other business partner to deliver the breath and depth of products and services.
  • Provide the business with timely marketing analysis, business proposal support and reports.
  • Monitor, evaluate and provide economics for new and existing project/ programs.

Job Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years post qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service or Project Management in the commercial sector.
  • A proven record of strategic thinking; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy, ability to self-motivate and motivate others, a passion for communicating the benefits of great programs to business partners and independent workload management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience and demonstrated abilities in sales, negotiations, and partner relationship management.
  • Ability to influence the management team through written/interpersonal, presentation skills, and the ability to simultaneously address multiple projects and challenges.
