Overview:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning coordination and execution of software releases
• Develop release plans and timelines and communicate them to stakeholders
• Coordinate release activities with development QA and product management teams
• Manage and resolve release conflicts and dependencies
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with release management policies and procedures
• Maintain release documentation and version control
• Collaborate with support teams to address postrelease issues
• Conduct postrelease reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools for release management
• Participate in the continuous improvement of release processes
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the release process
• Coordinate training for new release processes and tools
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards during releases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Experience in release management for software products
• Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Experience with release management tools such as JIRA Git or similar
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Proven track record of successful release implementations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
• Certification in release management is a plus
