Overview:
The role of Release 0.1.945 is crucial to the success of our organization. The individual in this position will be responsible for coordinating and managing the release process ensuring that software products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. They will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to plan and execute release activities ensuring smooth transitions and updates for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning coordination and execution of software releases
- Develop release plans and timelines and communicate them to stakeholders
- Coordinate release activities with development QA and product management teams
- Manage and resolve release conflicts and dependencies
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with release management policies and procedures
- Maintain release documentation and version control
- Collaborate with support teams to address postrelease issues
- Conduct postrelease reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated on industry best practices and tools for release management
- Participate in the continuous improvement of release processes
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the release process
- Coordinate training for new release processes and tools
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards during releases
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Experience in release management for software products
- Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- Experience with release management tools such as JIRA Git or similar
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven track record of successful release implementations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
- Certification in release management is a plus
