About the Job
Were looking for a handson Lead Backend Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and drive the development of their cuttingedge platform.
In your daytoday work youll focus on handson development while guiding our portfolio companys architecture scalability and performance. As one of the first Engineers to join the company this is an exciting opportunity to be part of its growth phase.
Join our portfolio company a ConTech Startup in Munich that is building a disruptive solution to digitalise a key area of the supply chain process in the construction industry.
In this role youll:
- Use objectoriented principles and best practices to scale our portfolio companys backend roadmap architecture design and development.
- Ensure backend systems are robust scalable secure and optimized for high performance and reliability
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver backend solutions aligned with product and business requirements
- Proactively seek opportunities for technological innovation and product enhancements actively collaborating with key external partners to broaden our product offerings
- Mentor junior team members and lay the foundation of the companys backend engineering standards tooling and processes
Your Profile
- You bring 5 years of experience in Software Development (ideally in a fastpaced startup or scaleup environment)
- You have extensive experience in building scalable microservice architectures in Python Go or other object oriented programming languages (e.g. Java C# etc.)
- You enjoy all aspects of building a product from scratch and are driven to make solutions for customer challenges a reality
- You strive to deliver high quality code and features through thorough testing and smooth deployment
- Your code is reusable welltested and ready to be shipped directly to the customers
- Youre eager to join an earlystage startup and disrupt an industry thats still highly paperdriven
- You are business fluent in English (German is highly advantageous)
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
