About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organizations network systems. This role involves monitoring network performance resolving issues and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your work will play a key role in optimizing network functionality and supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Maintenance: Administer and maintain LAN/WAN networks ensuring reliable connectivity.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance identify issues and implement timely resolutions.
Configuration Management: Configure and maintain network devices including switches routers and access points.
System Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades to network hardware and software as needed.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network configurations changes and performance metrics.
Access Control: Manage user access and permissions to ensure secure network usage.
Collaboration: Work with IT teams to address system requirements and improve network efficiency.
Quality Control: Assist in quality assurance testing and ensure compliance with network standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
Proven experience in network administration or a related role.
Familiarity with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS Juniper JunOS or Windows Server.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Knowledge of access control methodologies and network security best practices.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios PRTG).
Soft Skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
