As the Lead MIG Welder youll take charge of welding operations focusing on precision and adherence to detailed specifications. Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee highquality MIG welding on a range of metal components.
- Lead and mentor a team of welders to ensure production efficiency and quality.
- Inspect welds for accuracy alignment and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows.
- Troubleshoot and maintain MIG welding equipment for peak performance.
- Optionally support operations involving press brakes laser cutters or turret presses.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and foster a clean organized work environment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience in MIG welding with a track record of delivering quality results.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team of welders.
- Ability to interpret complex technical blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and processes.
