Roles and responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation Management:
- Prepare and Review Technical Documents: Ensure that all technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, reports, and manuals, are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Document Control: Manage the organization and storage of technical documents to ensure easy retrieval and version control.
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure that documents comply with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
- Change Management: Track and manage changes to technical documents and drawings, ensuring that all modifications are properly recorded and communicated.
2. Technical Support for Projects:
- Coordinate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure that the technical requirements of the project are well-defined and adhered to.
- Problem-Solving: Address any technical issues that arise during the design, development, or construction phases of a project.
- Provide Solutions: Offer technical expertise to find cost-effective and efficient solutions to problems or challenges that may occur during the project lifecycle.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to assess technical challenges and propose solutions or alternatives to improve efficiency and performance.
3. Design and Planning Support:
- Support the Design Process: Assist in the design process by ensuring that designs meet the technical specifications and align with client requirements and project goals.
- Review Drawings and Plans: Review and verify the technical accuracy of engineering drawings, plans, and blueprints.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that all technical work complies with established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Liaise Between Teams: Act as a bridge between different teams, including design, procurement, construction, and quality control, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of technical aspects of the project.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients or stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and address any concerns or feedback related to the technical aspects of the project.
