Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Developer with Power Platform Skills
Duration: 1215 Months with possible extension
Location: Richmond VA (Hybrid)
NOTE: Power BI developer (with Power Platform skills). This role is really targeting Power BI vs the other DOE Power Platform Dev role (751866) that just opened.
ON SITE REQUIRED: 1 a week required.
NOTE: Power BI developer (with Power Platform exp). This one is really targeting Power BI more than the other DOE Power Platform Developer role that just opened. Pls submit the candidate that has stronger Power BI skills to this role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for developingand maintaining Power BI solutions for the Agency as well as workingwith other developers to create and maintain application code and data neededto operate Power Platform leveraging best standards and practices. Toalso work with business users and the Pro Code team to create effectivecollaborative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Advise the team on best standards and practices and make recommendations to enhance performance and scalability of applications
- Keeping up with industry trends and technology developments within Power Platform
- Participate and assist in Administration of secure implementation of Power Platform solutions showing an understanding of how to secure Sharepoint modeldriven and canvas Power Apps Power Pages and Dataverse according to industry best standards and practices and Agency guidelines
- Assist in designing scalable performant architectures
- Extensive experience with Power BI and SQL is required. This developer will be mainly developing visualization in Power BI.
