Job Description
DHHSITD requires the services of a Build/Release Administrator to perform tasks associated with source code repository management and build/deploy process automation for the Green Portfolio/NCFAST applications.
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Build/Release Administrator to manage and upgrade source code repository Bitbucket/GIT/SVN for NC FAST applications; manage and support configuration changes; troubleshoot issues related to branching/merging and code repository.
This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the code repository upkeep and upgrade managing and automating branch/Merge processes for the NCFAST and Child Welfare applications by preparing and executing automation scripts.
The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Ansible for automating various build/deploy tasks providing support for Linux Administration efforts of AWS EC2 instances.
Required/Desired Skills
Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9 Apache Tomcat and Jboss Required 5 Years Experience in working with following operating systems: AIX RHEL and Windows Server 2008. Required 5 Years Knowledge and experience in J2EEspecific application hosting including VM tuning application tracing/debugging and application deployment. Required 5 Years Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including but not limited to Ant Maven Ivy etc Required 3 Years Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible UNIX shell script Perl Python etc. Required 2 Years Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS Azure GCP Required 0 Knowledge on Bitbucket/Git Configurations Branching and Merging. Highly desired 2 Years Full Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines Highly desired 0
