Job Title: Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with 10 years of experience to manage and optimize Oracle databases in a dynamic cloudfirst environment. In this role you will lead Oracle upgrades performance tuning troubleshooting and database deployment on Azure Cloud. Your expertise in Oracle RDBMS Data Guard ASM GoldenGate and security will be key to driving high availability optimizing performance and ensuring data protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Administration: Manage Oracle environments (RDBMS Data Guard ASM Vault) on RedHat Linux.
- Oracle GoldenGate: Configure and maintain for replication and disaster recovery.
- Upgrades & Optimization: Lead Oracle upgrades (12c to 19c) and optimize performance using advanced features.
- Cloud Integration: Optimize Oracle on Azure including VM storage and security.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve database and infrastructure issues through root cause analysis.
- Project Management: Lead and execute Oracle database projects.
- Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with teams on project progress and risks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years as an Oracle DBA with expertise in Oracle RDBMS Data Guard ASM Vault Security/Encryption and OEM.
- 2 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
- Experience upgrading Oracle databases from 12c to 19c.
- Strong understanding of Oracle features like Active Data Guard Far Sync RMAN and Multitenant.
- 5 years of Azure Cloud experience (VM storage security backup).
- Proven performance tuning troubleshooting and project management skills.
