Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Dallas TX
Shift: 12 HR Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Hourly Pay Range: $30 $40
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (Acute Care) to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating treating and monitoring patients providing highquality therapy in a fastpaced environment. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to modify therapy programs as needed ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate treat and monitor patients while modifying therapy programs and goals to meet individual needs.
- Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and accurately enter patient charges.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members providing education when necessary.
- Supervise ancillary staff students and volunteers.
- Advance clinical skills through continued education literature review and implementation of evidencebased practices.
- Ensure compliance with national state and organizational guidelines.
- Align personal work activities with organizational goals contributing to system success.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Experience: Acute care experience preferred.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
