Weekend Header Sub Arc/Lance/End Block Welder
- Pay: $26/hr (Based on Experience)
- Hours: Weekend Nights 5:30 PM 3:30 AM
- Job Type: Welding
- Location: Catoosa OK
- Test Requirements: 1G Saw Plate Test
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilledHeader Sub Arc/Lance/End Block Welderto join our team on weekend night shifts. This role involves precise welding tasks using advanced techniques and equipment to produce highquality components while maintaining adherence to company standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Position headers using overhead or jib cranes and align the welding head over the weld joint.
- Load and thread electrode wire onto the machine adjust welding head angles and set specified parameters for wire feed flux and welding speed.
- Operate and monitor equipment observing meters gauges and weld action to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Inspect welds visually grind welded surfaces and operate pneumatic and electric grinders as needed.
- Utilize levels for precise setups and adjust machines to vary bead size location and penetration.
- Layout fit and tack workpieces together; preheat workpieces and remove slag flux and spatter.
- Perform carbon arc gouging to make necessary repairs and maintain production records.
- Ensure regular attendance punctuality and the ability to work onsite overtime and in a teamoriented fastpaced environment.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members management customers and vendors.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate specialized welding equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
