Job Description
The Clinical Director will lead and oversee the departments activities and resources to achieve both departmental and organizational goals. This leadership role is essential in ensuring high standards of clinical excellence operational efficiency and compliance with all relevant requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
- Develop and execute department goals plans and standards aligned with the organizations clinical administrative legal and ethical objectives.
Operational Management:
- Direct and oversee departmental operations including patient care delivery service level determination compliance management and the integration of innovative information technologies.
- Ensure adherence to performance and quality control benchmarks.
Staff Leadership & Development:
- Plan manage and monitor staffing activities including recruitment onboarding performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by organizing professional development opportunities and encouraging the adoption of best practices.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop monitor and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure financial accountability.
- Manage resources effectively and ensure operations stay within allocated funding.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to maintain compliance.
Culture of Excellence:
- Cultivate an environment that supports professional growth collaboration and innovation.
- Serve as a role model and mentor inspiring a commitment to excellence and patientcentered care.
EvidenceBased Practices:
- Stay updated with current clinical research and integrate evidencebased practices into departmental operations and clinical protocols to enhance care quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare management role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance quality control and evidencebased practices.
- Exceptional organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively while driving departmental and organizational success.
