Job Description
At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Colleagues guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As an Engineering Tech your attentiveness efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- To maintain and repair various pieces of laundry equipment.
- Complete all PMs and maintain proper records
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations
- May be required to work in other areas such as kitchens or HVAC or where needed
- Mechanical or PLC experience preferred
- Electrical and/or automation troubleshooting skills
- Follow department policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a Maintenance role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
- Must have electrical plumbing and basic maintenance skills
- Must be able to read write speak English fluently
