Job Description
We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Hoxton Downtown LA. The role is based within the property and reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper.
What youll do.
- Provide the highest level of customer care and to provide a friendly helpful and responsive level of service for our guests
- Support the running of our hotel by ensuring our guests have a memorable experience in a spotless and well put together room
- Lead and inspire the housekeeping team by example creating an environment that lets them be themselves and bring their best selves to work encouraging their development and progression
- Take a handson approach to training and supporting your team in keeping to our high standards
- Oversee and check the cleaning and servicing of all our bedrooms and public areas
- Ensure that the roomsadhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Attend all training sessions required
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are adhered to and any breaches in standards are reported to the Executive Housekeeper
- Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude even when working to find solutions to challenges
- Undertake any other reasonable requests from management

Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
- An eagleeye for detail you can spot a slip in standards from a mile away
- A natural people person who people like working with. You make those around feel good at their jobs and comfortable coming to you with questions. Youre great at motivating others to keep to your own high standards of service
- You have the ability to lift pull and push a moderate weight.
- You are able to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- You are able to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
