Job Description
The GI Technologist is a selfmotivated individual who is responsible for assisting the professional nurse and/or physician in assuring continuity of care during the preprocedure intraprocedure and immediate postprocedure periods of the patient s procedural experience. Position works within the outpatient GI Lab & Endoscopy. Will wear surgery department hospital scrubs. Minimum Requirements: Two years GI perioperative experience with scopy cleaning experience preferred. Graduate of school for surgical technologists and/or U.S. military healthcare training Completion of college course in anatomy/physiology Current CPR Recognition Desired Qualifications: SGNA GTS Gastroenterology Technician Certification SGNA AGTS Advanced Gastroenterology Technician Certification
Shift: 8 Hour Shifts Day Shift with between 0600 and 1000 start time.
