Job Description

Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Shift Schedule: MonFri; 8a5p

Call Schedule:

Nights; 5p8a

Weekends; 24hr call

Patient Volume per day: 1214 (OP); 510 (IP consults)

Patient Demographics: Adults

Rounding Included: Yes; APPs will support rounding.

Physicians in Practice: 17 Cardiologists

Required Procedures:

Echocardiography Transesophageal Echocardiography Electrical Cardioversions

Electrocardiograms (EKGs) Treadmill & Chemical Stress Tests Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography.

Trauma Level: I

EMR: Epic

Required to Supervise APPs: Yes; Also supervise stress tests cardiac rehab as needed.

Other Info: Not responsible for direct admissions; Hospitalists will handle admissions.

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MN License (preferred)

BC/BE (ABMS)

DEA

ACLS

Local (preferred)
