Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable and robust cloudbased solutions using Azure or
AWS platforms focusing on big data and analytics.
Lead the development and implementation of Data Lake solutions and optimize
architectures for largescale data processing.
Build and maintain endtoend ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging tools such as Azure
Data Factory AWS Glue or FiveTran.
Work with data engineers and developers to design Sparkbased solutions for big
data processing and ensure seamless data integration.
Implement best practices for data modeling metadata management data lineage
and governance in cloud data environments.
Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to integrate solutions with Power BI
Tableau or similar tools for business insights and reporting.
Provide technical leadership for the integration of Kafka or other streaming
platforms to enable realtime data processing and analytics.
Oversee and participate in the development of cloudbased data lakes data
warehouses and advanced analytics platforms.
Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance scalability security and cost
efficiency in cloud environments.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing big
data and analytics.
Strong experience in Data Management particularly in the areas of Data
Cataloguing Data Quality and Master Data Management is added advantage.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including DevOps product management
and business stakeholders to align on architecture decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a
related field.
12 years of experience in software development or software engineering with a
focus on cloud architecture and data solutions.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
(AWS) with handson experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures.
Proven experience with Big Data technologies including Data Lakes ETL/ELT
tools and Spark.
Strong experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Handson experience with integration tools like Azure Data Factory AWS Glue
FiveTran or Kafka.
Knowledge of modern data governance and data management practices.
Experience working as a Software Developer or Software Engineer in the earlier
stages of your career.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global
teams.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with realtime data streaming and eventdriven architectures.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines in
cloud environments.
Must have experience with Data Warehousing solutions like Databricks Snowflake
Redshift or MS Fabric.
Certifications in Azure or AWS cloud platforms would be an added advantage.
