Job Description

Job Title: Product Controller
Location: Midtown New York City
Reports to: Senior Product Controller
Department: New York Accounting and Product Control Department
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain all aspects of monthly accounting for assigned products
Ensure accuracy by liaising with Front and Back Offices in North America
Produce accurate and timely weekly monthly and annual reports for assigned products
Analyze all P&L movements and document explanations
Execute Product Control function in compliance with Groupdefined control processes
Work closely with businesses to improve company Product Control function
Develop frameworks and procedures
Work with Front Office trading desks and IS on system development projects
Required Qualifications:
College degree in Accounting Finance Business or other numerate discipline
Experience in monthend closing and general ledger account analysis
Multiple years of Product Control or market risk with P&L reporting experience in a Physical Trading environment
Highly motivated and proactive individual
Team player
Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Required Skills/Competencies:
Ability to understand and post journal entries for monthend closing
Ability to understand and summarize periodic P&L movement
Strong analytical skills
Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
Understanding of derivatives
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced changing environment
Ability to manage conflicting priorities
Strong business partnership skills
Implementation of trading software would be a plus
Language Skills:
Native English speaker
French or Spanish would be a plus
