Overview:
The ETL DataStage Developer will work within the Enterprise BTO department with a focus on developing and enhancing DataStage ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrations troubleshooting and process optimization and will thrive in an agile development environment.
Position: ETL DataStage Developer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance DataStage ETL (11.x) solutions for reporting and data requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for data issues and provide resolutions.
- Identify process gaps automate tasks and enhance system stability.
- Analyze agile user stories design prototypes and develop/deploy quality solutions.
- Make code changes in DataStage ETL and Unix jobs.
- Support production applications and deliver improvements based on business needs.
Requirement Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 57 years of DataStage (ETL) experience (mandatory).
- Experience with migrations is a must.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach to improving development processes.
