As an Operation Assistant you should be organized detailoriented and proactive with prior experience in Amazon operations or fulfillment to support our operational team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Amazons processes tools and workflows and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics inventory management and order fulfillment systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Responsibilities as an Operations Assistant: Order Fulfillment Support: Assist in managing and processing orders ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment through Amazons Seller Central platform or other relevant tools.Create and curate content for social media posts including graphics videos and written content adhering to brand guidelines and voice. Inventory Management: Support inventory tracking including monitoring stock levels managing product listings and ensuring that inventory is properly organized and stored for optimal efficiency. Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate the preparation and shipment of products to Amazon fulfillment centers ensuring compliance with Amazons shipping requirements and timelines. Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all operations activities including order status shipping details and inventory levels. Generate regular reports to track performance metrics. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Assist with resolving operational issues related to order discrepancies shipping delays and other fulfillment challenges. Work with Amazon support teams as necessary. Amazon Platform Navigation: Use Amazon Seller Central and other related tools to update product listings manage returns and refunds and monitor performance metrics like order defect rate late shipment rate and customer feedback. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the operations team to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs. Customer Service Support: Assist with customer inquiries and resolve issues related to product orders shipping and returns ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Amazon s policies including listing guidelines shipping standards and customer service expectations. Help ensure products meet Amazons quality control standards.
Qualifications as a Operations Assistant:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in business logistics or related field is a plus. Amazon Experience: Previous experience working with Amazon Seller Central FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) or Amazons logistics and fulfillment systems is highly preferred. marketing and a proactive attitude towards personal and professional development. Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of ecommerce operations order fulfillment inventory management and shipping processes. TechSavvy: Comfortable using various software tools including Amazon Seller Central Excel Google Sheets and inventory management systems. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy. ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify operational issues and find effective solutions to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders including Amazon support. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work as part of a team in a fastpaced environment. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in operations logistics or ecommerce preferably with exposure to Amazonspecific operations.
