Job Description

Position: Business Analyst

Duration: 2 years

Location: Saint Paul MN (Hybrid)

Description of Project

The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Department of Economic and Employment Developments (DEED) Unemployment Insurance Division (UI) is seeking a vendor to work on a series of projects broken into several portfolios of work to update Minnesotas UI system. Two portfolios of work were begun during the pandemic one has been successfully completed and the second is scheduled to be mostly completed Spring of 2025. The work in this request will continue to update the underlying infrastructure enhance the flexibility and power of the UI system and provide an enhanced experience for applicants and employers in Minnesota.

Skill Required :

  • 2 or more years experience on a system development project
  • 5 years experience doing business and functional analysis in Unemployment Insurance programs or other regulated and audited government sector making tax calculations and directtouser payments through a workflow (not case managed) business model.
  • 2 years experience developing functionality and building detailed use cases and business requirement documents
  • Experience working on 1 or more systems development projects in a business analyst role
  • BA or BS Degree (list college and degree)
