Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Vessel Software Lead onboard construction vessel worldwide.
Mission:
Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary
Be the responsible of electrical and electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures.
Tasks:
Supervise and monitor with full autonomy all automation system related to the pipe/flex lay equipment pipe handling lifting appliances and the rest of the system connected to the production side
Monitor and control supervising onboard electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures
Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule
Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity
Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipments
Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLC in programming and troubleshooting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the contractual scope of activities
- Capability to follow and perform the commissioning on production machines for pipelay (vertical lay system equipment)
- Knowledge of Siemens control system and Tia portal
- Familiar with IHC system
