Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and application deployment using tools like Terraform Ansible or similar.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure high availability scalability and reliability of systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and ensure cost optimization security and performance.
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus Grafana or similar monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the entire infrastructure stack including networking servers databases and applications.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks (e.g. backups server provisioning).
- Continuously assess and improve system performance application reliability and infrastructure efficiency.
- Support and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a DevOps systems engineering or cloud operations role.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and cloudnative architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar.
- Handson experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or similar.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash Python or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (DNS HTTP TCP/IP etc.).
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack Datadog Splunk).
- Knowledge of version control systems preferably Git.
- Ability to work in an agile environment collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
