Job Title: Application Support Analyst (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Provide daytoday technical support for enterprise applications including troubleshooting incident management and root cause analysis.
- Respond to applicationrelated issues resolving them in a timely manner to minimize business disruption.
- Work closely with development infrastructure and operations teams to manage application releases updates and patches.
- Monitor application performance identify trends and propose improvements to optimize performance and user experience.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of new releases upgrades and fixes.
- Document issues solutions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future reference.
- Support application monitoring tools to ensure uptime and availability of critical business systems.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide technical recommendations for application enhancements.
- Provide training to endusers and create user guides or training materials as needed.
- Assist with data migrations and integrations between applications.
- Participate in the oncall support rotation to handle afterhours issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in application support or a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of application support methodologies troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Experience with database management and SQL for data queries and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of enterprise applications and webbased software systems.
- Proficiency in monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Splunk AppDynamics or New Relic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) for automating tasks.
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools like Jira ServiceNow or similar.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
