Job Description
Work Experience: 6Yrs 12Yrs
Oracle Exadata / ODA / Exalogic / Super clusters. (X3/X4/X5/X6/X7)
Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c RDBMS/RAC / Dataguard Database Administration
Oracle Golden gate
ITIL and Oracle Certification is preferable
Oracle RAC certification is preferable
Knowledge of SQL Server desired.
Knowledge of 10g/11g/12c/19c/ AS (application Server) desirable.
Knowledge on Multiple vendor Cloud technologies like OCI / AZURE / AWS / GCP.
Skill set / Experience required:
Substantive 6 experience providing database administration services in the following environments Oracle 19c/18c/12c/11g/10g Databases on HA configuration using 10g/11g/12c/19c RAC on various engineered system like Exadata / Oracle Data Appliances / Oracle Exalogic / Oracle super clusters.
Engineered system skill requirement:
Develop and maintain system documentation related to your Oracle Exadata/Oracle Super Cluster and software configuration
Patch and release management (database server network Oracle Exadata)
Establish appropriate procedures and guidelines to pursue track and document service requests
Evaluating overall performance of your computer systems and providing recommendations for improving performance
Monitor and maintain critical hardware information for the database machine
Monitor and address database machine alerts
For Oracle Exadata/Oracle Super Cluster: New database instance creation backup and recovery procedures implementation Database administration Performance tuning of the database
Monitor and manage infiniband performance using the aggregate sensor that takes input from multiple sensors
Set up alerts and threshold criteria in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
Expertise on ZDLRA technology.
Experience in migrating the VM to old Exadata machine to new Exadata machines.
Expert in migrating database from commodity hardware to Exadata Machine with various approaches.
Migrating database with Golden gate technology with zero minutes down time.
Oracle DBA Skill required:
Expert knowledge in Oracle RDBMS system and strong troubleshooting skills and Problem Resolution.
Strong systems architectural skills and knowledge in Design and build of Database systems. Develop solutions to meet or exceed requirements. Includes knowledge to perform Remote software installations upgrades migrations and apply patches.
Experience with deployment and deployment management of Databases on Linux / Unix flavors as well as on windows systems.
