Job Description

Were seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to work with early childhood learners making a meaningful impact in their developmental journey. This role offers a chance to create tailored educational experiences for children with diverse abilities fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Position Highlights:
- Create a structured nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and learning.
- Participate in IEP meetings and work with a multidisciplinary team to align on strategies and goals.
- Collaborate with families paraprofessionals therapists and educators to support student progress.
- Monitor student growth through regular assessments adjusting instruction to meet individualized goals.
- Facilitate engaging instruction in both oneonone and group settings to meet developmental milestones.
- Lead the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for children aged 35.
- Incorporate playbased learning and developmentally appropriate practices to support social emotional cognitive and physical development.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of early childhood development and effective behavior management strategies. While prior experience working with children with disabilities in a preschool setting is preferred strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for partnering effectively with families and team members to support student success. A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field is required along with a valid Illinois teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
