Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide highquality patient care and assist in various procedures within the Cath Lab setting.

Duties

  • Perform catheterization procedures under the guidance of physicians
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Administer medications and intravenous fluids as needed
  • Assist in the insertion and removal of catheters
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license
  • Prior experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting preferred
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices
  • Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of geriatric care and emergency medicine practices
  • Ability to ventilate patients effectively
  • Experience in case management and medical coding
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athena health and Epic
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Requirements

  • 2 years critical care experience required
  • Certification/License:
  • RN License NJ or Compact
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 $56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
