Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide highquality patient care and assist in various procedures within the Cath Lab setting.
Duties
- Perform catheterization procedures under the guidance of physicians
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as needed
- Assist in the insertion and removal of catheters
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting preferred
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
- Knowledge of geriatric care and emergency medicine practices
- Ability to ventilate patients effectively
- Experience in case management and medical coding
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athena health and Epic
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Requirements
- 2 years critical care experience required
- Certification/License:
- RN License NJ or Compact
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
